  It is unfortunately off the beaten path in respect to the Camino and whilst advertised as being 2km away, it does feel longer. However, if you're looking for peace and quiet and some great views of the water then the extra walking is worth it.

  Rooms were clean and a good size. Shared restroom was much nicer than expected. Staff was very helpful.

  The terrace is essentially a gravelled area with disused park swings/slide and chairs/lounge chairs. However, in the Spanish sunshine and the views in front (albeit fenced off a bit) it's rather enjoyable.

  The contemporary look and cleanliness was most welcomed. The towels could do with replacing but the shared bathroom, whilst rather tired looking, is perfectly clean and the staff provide shampoo and shower gels.

  Las mejores anguilas q he comido. El personal es atento y amable. Servicio rápido para la cantidad de gente q tienen. Lo único malo es q al ser el comedor tan grande y con tanta gente, el ruido es bastante molesto. Pero por lo buenas q están las anguilas merece la pena.

  The owner makes every effort to be welcoming and ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. He serves breakfast solo and the result is a breakfast sitting in dire need of staff. The breakfast is okay but not worth €5pp. Maybe if change to a buffet style breakfast it would be quicker for customers and better service.

  If you are an early evening eater you may struggle here as the restaurant does not open until 8.30pm but again they do provide a free taxi service and there is a restaurant across the picturesque bridge over the reservoir.

  Don't be fooled by initial experiences because your stay here will be most pleasant. The rooms were surprisingly excellent in comparison to the exterior of the building.

  A really beautiful and peaceful place, clean rooms, great views. Has a restaurant with delicious food. Five stars to the staff.

  Unfortunately, the room we were given appeared to be close to some plumbing and the noise became quickly infuriating, especially when trying to sleep. I'd recommend bringing ear plugs. Overall it's a noisy place to sleep in.

  They also offer to provide transport to/from the Camino if the extra walk seems to much! In addition, they offer this free "taxi" service throughout the day so you can head into Portomarin from the hotel easily.
